Automatically slides during turns. Great USA built hitch i dont have a 5th wheel so no need for it. It mounts so the frame with brackets (NOT to the bed) quick release pins achor the base plate in the frame mounts but elevated so it does not damage bed or make contact at all.

Great for short bed trucks.

Brackets will be needed they are specific to your vehicle and are available from the mfg website or amazon.
